hi in my projects some of my columns basically cause stapling. Is it possible to make only concrete teeth in my model under the columns that cause this punching? I need to meet all of the shear force formed in the foundation with concrete, so I want to make teeth from concrete without reinforcement.
 
Re: basically staplings Hello, You can define column headings under the relevant columns. It will be convenient to do it in the dimensions of the stapling circumference.
 
Yasin, this is a very important information. Can we apply it in every project? I've never read this kind of suggestion before.
 
In practice, if you can increase the thickness locally in this way, it can be used in raft foundations and columns with punching problems. Reinforcement drawing is not given in the column header, it would be appropriate to provide details by using minimum U-shaped reinforcement for this area.
 
Increasing the thickness locally is often not possible, sometimes it can be solved by increasing the finite element width on the raft, but of course this solution eliminates the precision calculation, right?
