Shear Problem in Beams Between Curtains

good day, I am using ideCAD for my final project. In the model I made, I am constantly getting shear errors on 1 m long 30 cm wide 50 cm deep beams connecting the curtains.

Hi, The beams you are talking about are the tie beams between the two curtains. Cross reinforcement can be used in tie beams and the shear force control of these beams using cross reinforcement is different from other beams. You can select these beams, check the "beam is tie beam" option from the Static/Reinforced Concrete tab, and then check the "Use cross reinforcement" line from the Rebars tab. Diagonal reinforcement description in TDY 2007: Note: Meshing problem appears in D35-D35 slabs. In order to avoid this problem, you can give the offset of the K81 beam at all floors 18 cm instead of the defined 17.5 cm.
