Roof Loads

Hello, As a new idecad user and engineer, I am not entirely sure how to affect the wooden roof loads on the system. i find snow, wind and other loads originating from the roof "on recommendation" and distribute them equally to the columns as point loads (according to their position)...is this method so wrong...is it too easy...or worse, from a static point of view? Is it a critical error? What would you recommend me to apply.... Thank you...

When you give a live load of 150 kg/m2 to the roof deck, you are giving the wood roof and covering loads, including snow. G.KOSE
