Hello... 1) When I cross the roof, the crosses are intertwined. What would be the reason? 2) Column, roof beam joint is on the right, but I could not make the same joint on the left, why? Good work, take it easy...
 
Hello there; You must have made a wrong choice during modelling. We could not obtain the wrong geometry. We recommend that you follow the following order in terms of modeling logic. 1) After entering the steel column and beam data, enter the vertical and horizontal braces, which are the main structural elements. 2) If you are going to use stability elements, enter the stability beams and braces. 3) Enter the minstrels and generations. 4) Enter the skins. When we perform the edits in your model, there is no problem with the crosses. If the connection is: - The guse joint you use is a joint that geometrically connects the beam to the column head. If you want to use it in the opposite way, we recommend that you activate both the upper and lower stiffeners and create a symmetrical joint. However, if you want to use a single gusset, you need to activate different stiffeners on the right and left sides of the structure. If the upper stiffener is active in one direction and the lower stiffener in the other direction, you can obtain the geometry you want. - You have defined the combination as welded. Do you foresee whether the beam and column will be assembled as a single piece in the field or whether you are field welding. If you are foreseeing a field source, you should activate the site section next to the relevant sources in the welds section of the combination. However, as you know, welding in the field is a difficult and costly job, and most importantly, it is difficult to control, so it is not recommended and generally not preferred by engineers. I modified the joint to be bolted. However, if you prefer the sourced one, make the arrangements I have mentioned. Good work.
