hello, I am wondering how resonance checks are made in idecade analysis, can you explain? For example, we enter the ground dominant period from the ground survey yes, but how is the comparison of the structure with the natural period and where can we see this control?

I'm asking if there is an error warning given only according to this comparison, not according to any item. Otherwise, we enter the spectra and the ground dominant vibration period according to the ground survey and after the analysis, we should check the resonance status ourselves.

You do not have to make such a check, according to the 2018 earthquake regulations. While constructing the spectrum, the soil properties (effect coefficients Fs and F1) are taken from Table 2.1 and Table 2.2 for short period and 1 sec period. Resonance investigation may be important in detecting risky structures. It can be useful in some cases if you can determine the soil dominant period in a healthy way by working with a geophysicist on the ground where the building will be built.
