When I define stability braces between my steel beams, I get a relative floor error, shouldn't it be the other way around? How come the side holding element that reduces the drift increases the relative floor drift.

How are the steel beams attached, what are your support conditions and what type of carrier system did you enter? If there are compatibility problems in your project, they should be checked.
