reinforcement for beams

Hello. We want to strengthen an old building. The method we have determined for this is to strengthen vertical carriers with mantle and reinforcement curtains on the columns. We will strengthen the beams and floors with steel. However, in the performance analysis we made after the columns and curtains in idecad during the design phase, we get a collapse error in both directions due to the brittleness of the beams. There is no reinforcement method for the beam in the program, but we will eventually reinforce them with steel. In other words, there is no strengthening option for the beam and we cannot overcome the collapse problem due to the beam. As a result, how can I solve this problem, the project of which will be given to the relevant municipalities. I will be glad if you help. good work

Hello, If the beams are brittle elements and will be strengthened, you can cancel the "Count brittle elements in the collapse zone" option in the analysis settings. In the report, brittle elements, separate a li It will be given to you as a list as the elements to be strengthened as ste.
