Reinforced concrete structure, subsequently connecting steel elements

They want to divide the remaining areas of the mezzanine floor of a reinforced concrete structure, solved according to 2007 standards, with steel. Can steel elements be attached to reinforced concrete beams that have been completed later, or is a steel column and framed system required? fields are required.)

Re: THE PROBLEM OF AFTER ATTACHING STEEL ELEMENTS TO REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE Hello My Suggestions: There are modeling-acceptance-load errors in this building that I assume are solved with V8. Without any correction V8[/ When we make calculations with the b] version, gives more than 100 errors. Modeling-acceptance-load errors had to be corrected before this building was built. If we calculate it with V10, finds 600 errors. If you get into this business, you have to do it together with the reinforcement it will be expensive because of the primer, you have to work hard. Modeling Modeled to determine the area where the axles and flooring will be placed that is, it is not exact calculation modeling. I do not know with which program the building was solved, but I opened the topic for a suggestion on how to connect the concrete floor to the concrete. As you said, I think the same thing. It will be necessary to provide a connection with an additional column, which increases the cost very much, if steel elements can be connected to reinforced concrete beams, I aim to save these costs with it.

Re: THE PROBLEM OF AFTER ATTACHING STEEL ELEMENT TO REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE Hello; You can insert steel beams or steel secondary beams into reinforced concrete beams. You can transfer loads on it by using the concrete flooring type in the steel tab. You can create extensions in the secondary beam properties as a joint - if you use a rigid joint with butt plate from the joint section, you can create it in the joint. You can use any butt plate joint as the joint type. You definitely need to make adjustments to the geometry. Good work.
