Reinforced concrete column-steel roof

Good day, I want to build a steel roof on a reinforced concrete column in the project I have mentioned in the appendix. In such a design, should I connect the outer columns with a reinforced concrete beam? Can I have your information and comments about this design?

Hello. It is a more suitable solution to connect the outer columns, namely the truss-bearing columns, to each other from the top with beams. Unver ÖZCAN

Ünver, thank you for your reply. By connecting from the top, do you mean a connection with reverse beams? can you open a little more?

In the model I am making, I need to connect the beams to each other and connect the beam end points to the curtain and the column, how can I make the connection, how should I place the braces since the distance of my axle spans is a bit too much? How is this structure modeled?

Hello there; With the multiple cross command, the first part can be entered crosswise. In the shorter region, you must enter data with the single cross command on the lower tab from the cross menu. For this, if you select the short beam and right click on it, the command to create snap point on the object will appear in the opened tab. In this command, you will see which points you will select while modeling with a single cross. We have created your column and curtain and steel beam combination as an example. Added with the name 1 in favorites. For box/pipe profiles, a butt plate joint is used. For now, do not enter a joint between the steel columns and reinforced concrete columns, but arrange them in the drawings. Because an error occurs, the length of your reinforced concrete elements is shortened too much. The issue has been noted to be fixed, but we don't have a solution for this situation in this release, except you interfere with the drawings.
