Raft foundation thickness and reinforcement spacing

Hi, it is sufficient when analyzing the raft foundation thickness as 50 cm Ø16/20, it is sufficient as Ø16/18 when the foundation thickness is 60 cm. When you increase the thickness of the foundation, the reinforcement gap decreases, what is the logic of this, is it normal to be like this?

Hi there, when you analyze the raft foundation thickness as 50 cm Ø16/20, it is sufficient, when you make the foundation thickness 60 cm, it is sufficient as Ø16/18. When you increase the foundation thickness, the reinforcement spacing decreases, what is the logic of this? Is it normal ?

Hi, reinforcement cannot be placed on the raft foundation less than the min. fractional ratio specified in the raft parameters.If the foundation works at minimum, it is normal for the required reinforcement area to increase when the thickness of the foundation increases.
