Raft foundation beam

hello, if I throw a beam on the raft floor, all my additional reinforcements are cancelled. Is it right to design in this way? Sometimes, there is excess reinforcement along an axis in the raft flooring, I want to throw a beam on this axis, is it right to design in this way

Hello there; Reinforcement type of raft slab containing beams is incorrectly defined. If you define the reinforcement type of the related raft slab (RD22) as Top+Bottom flat reinforcement you will see that the results are compatible. As a suggestion, it may be more accurate in terms of modeling logic to define your beamed raft as two parts. Best regards.

When I say two pieces, should I separate it exactly where the foundation beam is, I made the raft as you said, ialevelr is different

Hello there; Do not expect the results to be exactly the same in both models. Because the two sites are different from each other. The continuous foundation beam you add will slightly change the pressure distribution and the finite element mesh at the base, this will cause differences. Yes, you can divide the raft foundation into two from its continuous level. Additional and main reinforcements calculated for two foundations. Best regards.

When I take analysis and look at the results, there is no additional reinforcement on the raft that I always base on. Can you add the data? Is there a difference in my model? I made 4 different models. I did not have the lock with me, so I did it in the demo version

Hello there; The reason why it does not appear as an addition is that you did not select the reinforcement type Top + Bottom flat reinforcement by using the Calculation Axis Edit option for raft slab. Even if we make this choice, I think that the rafter raft should definitely be entered in two parts. In its current state, I do not think that the relationship between the raft and the continuum is correctly established. I will share the model with you on Monday. Best regards. Hello Mr. Yunus; As I wrote in my previous messages, additional reinforcement calculation is not done because you did not choose the reinforcement type for the beamed raft. To edit the reinforcement type: 1. Select the raft tile and right-click on it. Click the Reinforced Concrete Account Axis Edit command in the menu that opens. 2. After clicking the command, select the reinforcement type as Top + Bottom Flat reinforcement from the menu that opens, click OK and close the window. I am also sharing the edited file attached.

hello, I locked all the reinforcements upside down on the raft.... I made 4 different models, and there are no additions in the places where I always laid the foundation

Hello In the project you added, there is an incorrect data entry in the 4th model. The raft is not constantly connected to the foundation. Also, you can edit the raft reinforcement axles as reinforced concrete axes with the calculation axis edit command as top + bottom flat reinforcement. required.
