RAFT BASE

Hello, While regional moment values occur in the range of 200-300 tm in the system, point moment jumps occur at some points. (the largest moment value is -460 tm) The program also chooses regional reinforcement according to the largest moment value, even if it is in a point area, the need for reinforcement is also is increasing. Here you can use engineering initiative. Maximum torque values seem acceptable in the 200-300 tm range. The option that affects the moment distribution in the program is found in the "Analysis Settings" dialog... Analyze the raft foundation-superstructure connection shape again by selecting the "direct connection" option in the Foundation/Soil tab. (the largest torque value is -278 tm) Good work

hello, I did as your suggestion, but again in a region there is a very excessive moment (like -405 tm), why is it so much? I added the latest version

Hello, I opened your project, I analyzed without touching anything. Your maximum torque value appears to be -269 tm from the vertical load. If the raft thickness is 110 cm, the missing Ace disappears. Of course, to meet the 269 tm moment, more additional reinforcement is required compared to other regions... If necessary, you can try to make the raft thickness 120/130 cm. If the ground tension exceeds, you can increase the floor area a little more. Good work...

First of all, thank you very much for your interest. In the project I sent you, the moment value I have is -406 tm. The result of the analysis without making any changes looks like -269 tm. I did the analysis again because I made a mistake and my value was -406 tm again. it gave a result

Hello, In order to finalize your project; Assuming the maximum moment value around -300 tm seems reasonable when looking at the torque scale in 3D. As I wrote in my first message, even if the point moment increases are large, deciding the moment value by looking at the regional moment distribution is an evaluation within the engineering approach. If you enlarge the raft finite element width (for example 50 cm), the moment values will be more localized. We will investigate why your moment is different... Your project has been recorded for review. Good work
