Hello, according to the regulations, we first enter the appropriate value such as 6-7-8. How do we decide which R value will be appropriate after we have the analysis done? There is a calculated value in the earthquake report, there are also values that are entered and selected, the entered and selected are the same, what should we enter the correct value in order not to make mistakes?

Hello, * The R coefficient to be entered in the Analysis Settings dialog is determined according to the normal, high, mixed ductility level and the shear force rate on the curtains. TDY 2007 Table 2.5 item 2.5.2, 2.5.3,2.5.4 *The difference between the Entered R and Selected R coefficients in the Earthquake Regulation Report is due to B1 Irregularity. As stated in TDY 2007 item 2.3.2.3, the program finds the Selected R value by multiplying the entered R coefficient by 1.25 and the analysis is made according to the selected R coefficient. The selected R value is not re-entered in Analysis Settings.
