"Calculate the required reinforcement over the current distance"

Can you explain the underlined places in a simple way so that we can understand the definition of the "Calculate the required reinforcement over the current distance" option that can be used for slab flooring and Raft Foundation? "Calculate the required reinforcement along the current distance: If checked, the reinforcement calculation is made to meet the maximum moment of in the region within the distance where the reinforcement axis is valid. If not, only is calculated. =#FF0000] reinforcement is calculated to meet the moment on the reinforcement axis."

It would be a very nice feature if automatic reinforcement determination is made for column moment strips and mid zone moment strips in beamless slabs or if the program itself determines these strips.

If calculated on the current axis: Moments are calculated based on the value on this axis. Accordingly, additional reinforcements are removed and drawn in the relevant places. Equipment savings. Calculation in the region within the distance: In this case, the design is made according to the maximum moments within the said area.

Thank you for your answer. However, I think that a confirmation (or correction) with the Idecad avatar helps us to make sure that we think correctly.

Dear NYILMAZ, I applied what you said in a simple project, either I did it wrong or I failed. I faced a situation like this: When I checked "Calculation in the region within the distance" (design is made according to the maximum moments), it gives higher reinforcement On the contrary, it gave lower results.

Dear NYILMAZ, I applied what you said in a simple project, either I did it wrong or I failed. I came across a situation like this: When I checked "Calculation in the region within the distance" (design is made according to the maximum moments), it should have given higher reinforcement, but on the contrary, it gave a lower result. I would appreciate it if you could check it out.
Could you add your project to the message?

I get a warning that the file size is too large. If there is an upload and download site you can recommend, I will send it there.

In the project you added, the "Calculate the required reinforcement for the current distance" option is not selected. When marked and analyzed, the design moments and required reinforcement areas change. If it is not marked and marked, the moment values and graphics are shown below for the calculation axis no. Good work

Firstly, thanks for your response. According to the number of concrete calculation axles we have determined and the distance at which the axles are valid We noticed what effects the "Calculate the required reinforcement for the current distance" option affects if it is checked and unchecked. In this case, it seems to the User that he needs to be very careful in determining the locations and valid distances of the reinforced concrete calculation axles on the raft foundation. You informed us earlier that we should analyze the places with elevator shafts as empty. In this case, would it be a correct approach to pass the raft foundation reinforced concrete calculation axis in the elevator shaft? Or, in your opinion, how should a user determine the locations of reinforced concrete calculation axes?

-In the program, the main reinforcements in the beamless raft are determined according to the design moments where the calculation axle passes. Additional reinforcement is thrown to meet this moment. There is no clear rule for determining the location of AP axles. However, for an economical design, the reinforcement axles can be passed where the design moments are the least. The moments of the calculation axis and the required reinforcement areas can be examined from the raft slab reinforced concrete dialog and the analysis model.

- Flat modeling of elevator pits We recommend adding the well detail to the drawings using the 2D drawing possibilities.

When tried with "Calculate the required reinforcement for the current distance", the raft slab calculation does not save. I tried on a shared project, but when this tick is inactive, there is no problem

This is normal because only 16 bars are selected for the raft in the reinforcement selection. Since 'first reinforcement is selected: 1. Calculate required reinforcement along the valid distance is not marked , fi16/14(14.364 cm2) is selected in regions that need additional reinforcement on top of the main reinforcement fi16/10 (20.106 cm2). Total=20.106+14.364=34.47 cm2. This selection is sufficient. 2. Calculate the required reinforcement along the valid distance is marked when is ticked, you want to cross the entire raft with the main reinforcement, but due to the reinforcement selection, the maximum fi16/10 ( 20.10 cm2) reinforcement can be selected (20.10 cm2 < 34.47 cm2) The difference is called "MissingAs error message" you are notified.
