Project Wizard

Hello, We can make the changes we want about our structure from the settings menu in the software, but it would be very useful to see a Project Wizard when the program opens. When the program is opened, a form with buttons such as New Project, Open Existing Project and Project Wizard may appear (many similar programs have this feature). When we click on the Project Wizard from here, questions about the building we will create step by step (building importance factor, ground class, earthquake zone .... etc.) can be created, and the outline of the project we will prepare. Perhaps in the next step, automatic building macros such as ready-made scissor systems can be used. Good luck with.

Hello there; As someone who has been using it for many years, I like this version of the ide that does not bore the user, as in some other programs, I think that there is no need for unnecessary template project menus where information is not yet available to start the project. Besides, as soon as you open your project in idestatic, you have the opportunity to make these settings from a single menu. Best regards.

Hello, The template can only be prepared according to the information available. Also, I don't think we can access all the settings from a menu like you (Number of floors, floor safety tension, etc.). I think you didn't read it fully because I said in my message "A welcome screen will come on startup, anyone can open a new project or an existing project like the old one, or use the project wizard". Therefore, this optional request can continue as before. For example, it can be as follows. We will also add a Project Wizard button to this screen. I think the "Do not show this at startup" option will also provide the request of our "2m project" friend.

good work

If my friend had explained what he wanted like this, the answer you got would not have been like this but suggest a nice program a little more visual.

Dear Sarıdurmuş, Surely, it's more explanatory to explain with an image, but there is a part of the message I opened above. Where is the part that is not fully understood here? Best regards

good work
I pressed the button you showed in Xsteel. This button opens a window for developers to suggest future versions. I couldn't see a project wizard with question and answer that you mentioned in Xsteel program. In ideCAD I am doing like this. 1) I'm opening a new project 2) I'm making the settings in this project 3) I'm saving it as a template. I'm making a lot of these temlates. I give their names at length so that it is understood. When opening a new project, I use the "open with temlate" option if I want. I don't understand exactly what you want. Can you open a little more? Thanks

Dear Curious; I have given the Tekla Structure screen only as an example. I mean, something like this could happen. Screenshot taken from Tekla's website. I did not do any work on the picture. If you review my post again, I think you'll understand better what I mean.

Levent, I do not understand exactly what you want. It is important that the authorities, not me, understand exactly what you want.

Since the number of people who do not understand my message has increased, I guess I have to admit that I made an inadequate explanation. If ideCad officials do not fully understand what I mean, I will rework the message.
