Yes, you have to do that. When you mostly provide according to DD1, unless otherwise, the SH performance target is provided according to DD3. So in the end, you should do both. Good work.
 
Hello, As you said, if the Earthquake Design Class of the existing structure is DTS=1a, performance analysis should be performed separately according to Table 3.4(c) according to DD-1 and DD-3. He should also have met the Controlled Damage (MR) performance targets for DD-1 and Limited Damage (AD) for DD-3. If these performance targets are not met, it is necessary to strengthen the structure and perform a performance analysis again for the reinforced structure at the same earthquake ground motion levels.
