dear authority, I wrote before but I couldn't get an answer. In performance analysis, the building importance coefficient is always written as 1. I want the building importance factor to be written in whatever importance factor it is for different buildings. does not accept as such.
 
Hello there; TDY2007, Chapter 7, Article 7.4.2 clearly states as follows; "Building Importance Factor defined in 2.4.2 will not be applied in earthquake calculation (I=1.0)" In summary, the building importance coefficient will be taken as 1 regardless of the purpose of the building. The effective factor in the performance evaluation is the Acceleration Spectrum multiplier and it is indicated in Table 7.7 which Acceleration Spectrum multiplier will be used for which types of structures. I think it will be enough to have your friends read these parts of the regulation. Best regards.
 
Hello friends. I want to solve a retrofit project, but I don't know how to proceed. If there is a document that roughly explains the steps to be taken, can you share it?
 
I know that all of the information I requested below is somehow available within the program. Still: Can the performance analysis reports be in the elective report format as in the retrofit or general analysis report results? Or performance analysis reports; - building layouts - building general information - beam loads - slab loads can be added? Also, in the preliminary information of performance analysis; - information level coefficient (I know it is written in the table, but...) - earthquake level used - calculated performance level - expected performance level can be added? As it is known, the performance of the foundations is not mentioned in the 7th section of the TDY. However, in line with the information obtained both from the project and as a result of the examination made in the building, it is necessary to show the condition of the foundations to transfer the existing loads. Depending on this, can a regulation be brought to meet the request to include elective reports basic reports in performance reports? With my loves, take it easy....
