old building reinforcement project

Hello, In the attached project, we are trying to strengthen a warehouse-showroom building, which was built according to the 1975 earthquake regulations. Elements with material properties C16-BÇ-I are the ones present in the project. The new elements to be added to the structure will also have the material properties of C25-BÇ-III. A bracing steel roof will be manufactured on the first floor columns. I strengthened the columns with sheathing method and according to the reinforcement report, the performance of the columns is at the desired level. However, some existing beams on the ground floor have a "brittle fracture" problem (especially the KZ23 beam). To solve this, I tried enlarging the beam section and it worked well on one beam. However, this should appear in the retrofit report as "manufacturing to strengthen the element (for example, beam sheathing)", how can we do this? We can sheath the columns in ideCAD, but I could not sheath the beams. Is there a way of sheathing the beams in the program? Or what can I do in the program to strengthen the beams? Good work. forcing the beam you mentioned max. it is none other than the beam stuck in the cutting zone. What you need to do is to take this load from the beam, for this; 1- to transform the forced beam into a reinforcement shear (to make a complete shear under the beam), 2- to remove the standard jacket of the jacketed column just to its left and to design an L polygon jacket that will continue under the stud beam, 3- to cause brittle shear failure of the stud beam, due to the lack of cutting equipment. As a solution, you can reinforce this area with steel plates. The ideal solutions are listed from top to bottom, the choice is yours. good work. G.KÖSE

I admire this dynamism of the forum!.. I looked at the clock and the answer was written in less than an hour, especially Mr. Thanks to Mr. Hakan, Mr. Levent and all the other team, including Mr. Ismail, May Allah increase their lives with the blessings of Ramadan and make their work successful.... Thank you for your answers. Adding a boost screen worked. However, it does not seem possible to strengthen the beam on an element basis in idecad static yet. We can manipulate the section properties, but they do not appear as a "reinforcement application" in the retrofit report. The applications specified in TDY-2007 for beams are also not available in idecad yet. I hope it will be added soon.
