Locations of column design moments

Greetings, As far as I understand, column calculations are made for the lower and upper ends of the column. In structures with basement or basement-like shears, maximum moment occurs on the shear. The solution to this situation is to define a floor at the basement level, or is there a way to specify the point in the column where moment calculations will be made, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Hello, In order to design the column according to the situation you mentioned, you can define the height of the basement curtains as a separate floor. Your request to control this situation in future versions has been noted. Good work

If the connection of the basement walls with the column is broken or weak, if you define a separate concrete class for the basement wall and enter the elasticity modulus of this concrete too small, then the bottom end moment of the column will be large because the basement wall is weak. In this case, you do not need to define a separate floor. However, on-site production should also be done in this way.
