Is a new generation multiprocessor suitable for ideCAD?

Recently, Amd introduced its new generation processor Ryzen7. In the tests, the editors state that in the single-core performance, where the multi-processor performance is good, Intel lags behind its equivalent processors. Does Idecad consider multi-core performance or single-core performance for analysis? I'm thinking of building a new computer. Because the analysis times (especially in large-scale projects) take quite a long time. I don't know which type of processor I should choose in order to shorten this time. (Multi-core performance or single) I would be glad if you could help. (I'm considering choosing AMD processors as they are almost half cheaper than Intel brand processors with similar performance) Thinking that the processor alone is not enough, I aim to collect a configuration such as a high-end motherboard Ddr4 16 gb ram M2 ssd 512 gb Gtx1080 according to the processor brand. The processor I am currently using is intel 4702mq 2.2 ghz 16 gb ram Gtx950 Samsung pro ssd Good work everyone. Sent via iPhone using Tapatalk

ideCAD uses multi-core processors as effectively as possible. But, especially in analysis, some operations cannot be done in parallel due to their nature. (To give a simplified example, the static analysis must be completed to start the reinforced concrete calculations, the reinforced concrete must be made for the measurement and deflection calculations, etc.). As a result, even if parallel processing is used in each of these stages, processors with better single-core performance will give better results in total due to the necessity of doing this back-to-back. The exception to this rule is rendering, where all cores can run in parallel. In the configuration you wrote, it would be better to reduce the graphics card to the processor (7700K), and if you are working with the semi-rigid analysis option in large projects, it would be better to focus on RAM (32 GB). The GTX 1080 is not a card that will make a significant difference for CAD work, but a similar CAD work performance is achieved with the GTX 1070, maybe even the 1060 (unless you intend to use the card in high resolution in games).
