Hello, what should we do to not take into account the engine room in the selection of BYS For example, while the 3-storey building with 300 cm floors is 900 cm, when the engine room is added at 350 cm, it becomes 1250. which causes bys to be 7 when it should be 8. Thank you for your help.

It may be a solution to not include the engine room in the drawing and to put it later in the form of masonry. different from this, is there a case such as defining the machine room etc. for cases where we need to include it in the drawing?

Hello, Engine room usually covers an area as big as elevator core and stairwell. In other words, it is quite small compared to the floor plan and has little effect on the dynamic behavior of the building. Therefore, the regulation defines such an option. You don't need to remove it from the model and then stack it.

Hello, You can mark the "Elevator/Engine Room column" in the Floor General Months dialog so that the engine room is not included in the building height class. Good work
