The reason for the architectural functions has been solved on the ground such as a shelter, warehouse etc. The structure is 13 floors and consists of a column + curtain framed system and the raft has been solved as the foundation.. My question: is it necessary to dig a basement for this building as an extra..(there is no negativity in the calculations)..basement If the floor is not made, will there be any negativity?

I think it is necessary and very important to build a basement for a 13-storey building. It is important for the building to be attached to the ground during an earthquake and to move with the ground. you hold it upright on the table, it will fall with touch.But if it is held by something from the bottom point, you will have to hit it to make it fall.A simple example but I hope it gives you an idea.
