Re: ideCAD Static V7 New Version Autocad style command line and dynamic input was a surprise for me as well. I thought that these possibilities would be given to users with the steel program to be released in the future.

Hello, The restrictions on connecting beams to the curtain in the data entry have been removed. , tile identification issues encountered in some cases are also fixed.

In this way, this situation is overlooked in many projects, causing misuse. It would be nice if this issue is fixed in version 7. Good work...

Bravo idestruct the "semi rigid diaphragm" thing. Semi-rigid diaphragm becomes even more important when it comes to steel structures, especially in structures with composite flooring system. In addition, the floor of the floor where the rigid structures on the lower floors rise by shrinking and the rising block part sits below must be modeled by taking into account the floors, that is, it should be modeled as semi-rigid. take a look at:

These are also important, but the definition of rigid diaphragm in basement rigid structures, which is encountered in most of the currently designed structures, causes errors in the shear forces of the wall and the effects of these walls on the foundation. This error is due to the rigid diaphragm theory. The semi-rigid diaphragm also solves this problem. Nobody can do this today, except for a few programs like Etaps (including Sap2000).

In addition to these possibilities, it would be nice to solve the problems caused by the vertical section change in the panel elements modeled as shells or the joining of the panels at different elevations, together with the V7. I think the attached picture will be self explanatory. (perhaps a mesh algorithm that takes into account intersections, as with tiles, could be in panels) Regards.
