ideCAD earthquake performance

Hello there. Question 1 Before performing a performance analysis, I would normally do an earthquake-free analysis for the assignment of reinforcements in some regions, such as beam laying, where you did not anticipate what the reinforcements would be in the first place, and make an analysis in sta4cad in such a way as to remove the minimum weight of the building. In Idecad, I could not put this logic into practice. I currently have the equipment I found in the field environment, and I will enter these reinforcements into the system before the performance analysis, but for example, how will the system discard the upper reinforcement or flooring reinforcement in the beam? My second question is my building was built in 2002. As the first analysis, should I analyze by selecting the regulation before 2007 in the regulation section?

Before analyzing, you can select the reinforcement diameter to be used or not used in the beams from the Reinforced Concrete Design / Reinforcement Selection option. Then you can increase the minimum reinforcement price from the Reinforced Concrete Design / Parameters / Beam Parameters option. It is understood that the purchase price of 0.001 in the original of the program is the minimum and I do not find it sufficient. Before analyzing, I make a minimum purchase of 0.0016 or 0.0017. When you increase Pursantan, the number of reinforcements increases. If you find the number of reinforcements insufficient after analysis, you can increase the price or increase the number of reinforcements and the diameter of the reinforcement by clicking the Reinforced Concrete Design / Beams / All Floors option below (aligns similar beams).

Well, for example, when we analyze a building built in 1999 for the reinforcement placement in the first place, what do you choose for the earthquake regulation, do you choose 2018 again?

The reinforcements that the program defines to the elements in the first analysis are of no importance. In performance analysis, according to the regulation, you must perform a certain number of stripping x-rays to determine the column beam and curtain reinforcements, collect the information and enter these data into your project. Therefore, if you are going to do the analysis with the new regulation, all your analyzes should be with the new regulation.
