While modeling in ideCAD, my computer is starting to slow down and I am getting one of the following two errors. Sometimes it gets stuck and I have to restart the computer. Sometimes ideCAD just shuts down. I run into this problem almost every 10 minutes. I am using windows 7. Computer LENOVO ideapad Z710 I would be glad if you could help. Thanks.

Hello, The problem you are encountering is not related to idecad, it seems to be related to the video card. Your video card stops working in graphic operations. Solution You can uninstall and reinstall the video card drivers for your computer. Is there a hardware-related problem from your computer's technical service, I suggest you get an opinion on the subject.

As far as I researched on the video card to stop working, a solution was suggested as follows: "Start->Settings->System ->Power and sleep->Related settings, enter additional power options. Then select "High performance" from the options there Get in mode." Other solutions on the subject:

I tried changing the power plan to high performance. I uninstalled and reinstalled the video card drivers. I chose the high performance nvidia graphics processor as the preferred graphics processor in the 3d settings in the Nvidia control panel. The problem still persists. On a site you recommended, they said that it could be caused by Windows 7. Could this be the reason? Thanks for your suggestions.

When you said I reinstalled the video card driver, you installed a more recent driver, right? If you've tried all of them, try Windows 10, let's see. It's interesting. If you're going to install Windows 10, install redstone 3 build no 1709 while you're ready, so it's the most up-to-date as of now.

It is also necessary not to ignore the possibility that your problem is not related to the video card driver but hardware. In particular, it is useful to check whether the video card fan is working efficiently and whether sufficient cooling can be provided.

Problem solved :) We changed Windows 7 to Windows 10. No problem left. Now I focused on the problem of ''Insufficient power to the video card'' but it was no longer necessary. Thank you for your help.
