I'm designing a 2.5 m console

When designing the beam and column to which the console is connected, does it need to be checked if this column carries the console floor or this beam carries the console floor? The program is already equipped as a console automatically, does it make a difference if we do not make this marking? I think it was not marked in the video you uploaded to Youtube. I'm trying to design a console in the program. Can you suggest a sample design?

Hello, the phrase "Console carries the floor" is an option that only concerns floors and is effective in the solution according to the full rigid diaphragm method. The presence of this option on the beam or column indicates from which side the slab will be fully restrained (recessed). You can see the difference by examining the moment diagram of the slabs. This statement is important if the console floor does not continue inside and is a stand-alone console supported on the beam.
