Etabs and ideCAD Results should be taken into consideration in order to compare the results of ideCAD and to make a 2018 Earthquake Code Compliant Project. ETABS by applying the above pdf If you create the model, the ideCAD and ETABS Results are very close. The reason for small differences is that ETABS Program cannot calculate floor weights as accurately as ideCAD. While modeling projects with Etabs, the following points should be considered: a- For material definitions, unit volume weight and concrete characteristic compressive strength must be entered the same in both programs. b- The point to be considered for the definition of the section; In the selection of fully rigid diaphragms, ideCAD Static uses beam section with table. c- Effective section stiffnesses must be defined in the Etabs program. d- If a fully rigid diaphragm is used for flooring, a membrane entry should be made with ETABS. e- Diaphragm Definition should be made f- Eccentricity analysis type should be selected with the dynamic procedure with two loading conditions (accidental torsion with dynamic procedure) in ideCAD Static. g- For dynamic method modeling, this method should also be selected in Etabs. You can find information on the subject by searching the sources with the title "accidental torsion with dynamic procedure".

h- You should make modal case edits i- You should edit mass source j- Spectrum function should be defined correctly k-Loading States must be defined If you consider these issues while modeling with Etabs, the results of ideCAD and Etabs are quite close. The reason for these small differences is the floor mass differences. Etabs masses and ideCAD Masses are slightly different because ideCAD models the masses from the physical model in a completely real way (the masses calculated by ideCAD are correct because they are produced from the physical model) For the construction weight and mass calculation, see the following document[/u ] Sample Project Stages Data Sample Project Stages Results[/u ]
