Hello friends; For 30 ton fuel tank, I need to solve the continuous basis with the download link below. Version 10 also closes during analysis. If there is a deficiency in the modeling or analysis settings, I would appreciate it if you could help me correct it.

For the foundations of such structures, it is necessary to design according to the relevant specifications. I have no doubt that you have good intentions and want to help, but you are misdirecting. You cannot design this foundation by dividing 30 tons into 4.

Re: DESIGN FOR A 30 TONS TANK FOUNDATION??? I defined the load definition of unver bey as a wall load of 25 tons per m2 for each continuous foundation. In case the free weight of the liquid to be placed in the tank is over 1, I bought 1.5, assuming that the empty weight of the tank would be around 5 tons in addition to 30x1.5=45 tons, I assumed the total load as 50 tons and applied a total wall load of 25 tons to each foundation. but when I do analysis the program closes itself. As a result, I wonder if it is appropriate to model such a non-residential system in the ide static program.

Re: DESIGN FOR THE FOUNDATION OF 30 TONS TANK??? Hello, it is not possible to make continuous analysis of foundation structure without vertical carrier. You must define a continuous foundation together with the vertical carrier (column or curtain). If you define in this way, the program will complete the analysis.

Re: DESIGN FOR THE FOUNDATION OF 30 TONS TANK??? hello, one of the most important issues to consider when designing a foundation for this type of structures is the settlements that may occur on the ground, different settlements can cause serious damage to the tank, while designing the foundation, the load Do not design by dividing into 4 columns, you need to pay attention here, you need to calculate according to the stress that the tank will create on the ground, these stresses can be subjected to various tests and can be found. Good luck with...
