How can I edit the ideCAD bak.file

Every time I open idecad, bak. file extensions appear on that page, the page is officially filled with white bak files. Is there a way to prevent this, thanks in advance for your answers
 
If you open and save your projects in a separate folder on the desktop, not on the desktop, .bak files will only be created in that folder. You can easily clean them later whenever you want, no complexity. In order to avoid the complaints like "I lost my project, my project is not readable, my computer crashed, can you save my project..." in 7 and earlier versions, the program now saves automatic backups with different names in 8 version, so that there is no data loss. You can turn it off in general settings, but we do not recommend turning it off.
 
I have a question please answer it, I cannot enter the value I want for the elasticity module and shear module while entering new material properties in idecad 8, help me
