How can I create ventilation gaps in floors?

There are ventilation gaps in the hollow floor floor and how should I indicate these gaps in my floor. Will the system take these gaps into account when making the analysis? Can I get a detail drawing for additional reinforcement reinforcements around the gaps in the face of additional stresses caused by the gap. Thank you for your help.

Hi, Slab gaps can be modeled with the "Tile Space" Command in the slab toolbar. Constructive cavity reinforcement selection can be made by entering the properties of the slab space you have drawn. These reinforcements are shown in the drawings when you receive the formwork plan. These gaps are taken into account in the finite element analysis model.

Re: How to create ventilation gaps in floors Thank you Mr. Yasin for your previous knowledge. As you said in the plate floors, I understood how these gaps will be. But if I do it on hollow floor floors, my rib ribs go through the gaps. How can I find a solution for this?

It would be appropriate to define a beam around the gap in rib slabs. The slab gap can also be created with the slab edge object, but long span rib beams are not preferred to work as a console. If there are ribs, it is preferable to give a constrictive tie beam detail around the cavity in the formwork plan.

Re: How to create ventilation gaps in slabs When sizing large air ducts in rib slabs, care must be taken that the air ducts do not cut the ribs. If there is no other restriction, it can be entered as two different spaces without cutting the ribs as in the attached picture. Here, the ventilation is narrowed by the rib thickness only at the floor level. But if the size and number of it has increased, it is necessary to pass the beam.

Do you have a stub or what other solution would you suggest?
