We used a raft foundation in our project, which is adjacent to 3 directions. And although we extended the raft foundation up to our maximum parcel limit and increased our foundation depth from 50 to 100, the problem was not solved. With the 50% increase option, we could not get approval from the municipality. Can anyone help with our problem. ..

Hello, According to TDY 2007 article 6.3.2.1, the soil safety stress can be increased by 50% in case of using earthquake loads on A, B and C group soils. If your floor falls into this group, reference can be made to the relevant regulation article for the control mechanisms.
