Hello, In the attached project, it is requested to remove the K27 person on the ground floor. I argue that it should not be removed. However, if it is removed, it does not give any error in the analysis. What is your opinion? I would be glad if you enlighten me. I wish everyone a good forum.

System selection can be made according to two different situations. However, the main thing here, in my opinion, is to meet the architect's wishes, if possible. If you think that the building will be unsafe when the beam is removed, you should clearly explain the reasons for this to the architect. ( I will remove this beam, but the cost will be, I have to put a curtain here, I need to enlarge that column, etc..) For this, the task to be done is to analyze the building behavior by analyzing both cases. The engineer's speech should be based on concrete information. The programs we have provide this opportunity to the engineer to a large extent.
