Good day 1- Since the 3rd basement floor of the building I am working on is completely surrounded by curtains, I got the rigid number of that floor in the x direction (-3). Since it is inclined) in the y direction, the rigid basement floor number (I got -1) 3- but the institution examining my project does not accept this because it does not say that different rigid floor numbers can be entered in the x and y directions in the regulations... 4- As a result, the program also gives this option. That's why I did this.. I would like to get the opinion of you, valuable forum administrators, on this subject, regards...

Re: Giving different rigid basement floor numbers in x and y directions Hello, the option to enter different rigid floor numbers in X and Y directions, as TDY 2007 allows different R coefficients to be entered in both directions, upon request from our users. added to the program. Good work

Re: Giving different rigid basement numbers in the x and y directions There is no clear article stating "The rigid basement can be assumed separately for x and y directions in TDY"... However, in many items x and y direction concepts are used... My personal opinion; If the building is an orthogonal structure, the numbers of the rigid basements can be accepted separately for the x and y directions... The program has already left this issue to the initiative of the engineer. Good work...
