Fundamental Rotations

In İdecad, the problem with the basic periods continues. It does not give the fundamental rotations and shows the relevant matrix calculations as zero. Currently, the municipality of our province rejects the projects and ide 5 users say that this problem continues in the ide 6 version. Will this situation be fixed? Will the reinforced concrete calculation of spring beams be added in the new update? Best regards....

Could you explain in more detail what you mean by "fundamental rotations and related matrix calculations"? What bases are you talking about (continuous/singular/radio base?) Which results are shown as zero?

I stayed away from the market due to military service. In the interviews I made yesterday, the municipality of our city did not take into account the fundamental rotations of idecad on continuous basis and sent back the static reports. I learned that in such cases, engineers made calculations manually and submitted them to the municipality. I did not understand exactly what happened. They showed me a beamless raft foundation report and there are columns that always write zero. I said you are wrong, but everyone says that if the ide does not solve this fundamental rotation problem, they will not update it. . Best regards...

Mr. Erman Hello, you can take into account the foundation periods by defining the super-foundation spring coefficient for the Columns in 5 Versions in order to get a solution with the infrastructure and superstructure interactive, taking into account the rotations of the foundation. coefficient These spring coefficients should be calculated and entered by the user. You can find calculation methods and extensive information about them in ideCAD Static help documents, under the title of Soil Structure interactive solution. In ideCAD 6 version, if "Consider Soil Structure interaction" is selected in the Project general settings for Raft foundations, the Soil structure interactive solution is made. In continuous and singular foundations, a solution can be obtained by defining arcs to column sub-nodes in 3D frame mode. Take it easy, good work.

In version 6, basic interactive solutions of beamless raft systems are made automatically. If your system is raft, it is sufficient to tick the basic interactive solution in the basic tab in the analysis settings. If the system is a continuous foundation, we need to give the spring values at the nodal points of the columns connected to the foundation. To enter the spring values, right click the joint point and use the "add spring" command. Some implicit formulas are given in fema356 regulation to calculate spring values in structural interaction solution for continuous foundations. You can refer to the attached document for the formulas.

spring value etc. in rafter raft foundations. do we define Also, is there a chance to add the calculations in the fema356 regulation to the continuous foundation or single foundation options as the option to consider the ground-structure interaction in the same way? or by calculating automatic spring insertion.
