Earthquake code Chapter 6 proposes a soil-structure interactive solution for class C and D soils. Since raft foundations are generally applied on these types of floors, we primarily focused on the integration of the raft foundations with the superstructure system. In version 6, continuous and single foundations are not integrated into the new analysis infrastructure, as in version 5, they are solved as a separate system that takes external load / rests on elastic ground. In the future, we will make the necessary changes to treat the entire building with its floors, stairs and foundations as a single system.
