File Corrupt (CRC check) Error

Hello, First of all, I would like to thank the administrators for allowing us to gather in a forum as IdeStatik users. When I try to open my pending project, which I have solved in IdeStatik version 5.511 and saved on 04.09.2008 with its drawings, it gives the error "File Corrupted (CHK chek)". Is this a problem caused by IdeStatic? What should we do to recover this file? And what should I do again to avoid this error? If a project pool can be added to the forum, I think it would be a nice sharing. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Hilmi CÜRA Civil Eng.

Dear Mr. Hilmi, The (CRC chek) error is usually caused by the project file not being closed normally (power cut, etc.). If you have a backup of your project file with *.bak extension on your computer, try to open this file. If you do not get results, we can inform you whether your project file can be recovered if you send your project file to [email protected].

Mr. Hilmi, CRC errors are usually caused by another problem with the computer (There can be many reasons such as hard disk corruption, power failure while recording, shutting down the computer without shutdown, virus, other general windows problems). Every time ideCAD saves a project, it adds a signature to the file that shows the contents of the project digitally. The reason for the CRC error is that ideCAD found the file in a different state (changed/shrunk) than when it was saved. The second reason, although less common, is that ideCAD is closed before it finishes saving the file. In this case, the project file can only be saved halfway and cannot be opened. If you send your file to our technical service, we will examine whether it can be recovered. In order to prevent such situations, we strongly recommend working with backups, not to work on a single file all the time, but to save with different file names and most importantly to different media using the save as option. For this job, you can use a USB memory most practically. If you make a different save every 3-4 hours while working on the project, you will lose very little in case of such a deterioration.

Hello, I have installed ideCad static version 8.03 on my computer. 1- While installing, I got the report that the example\arkaca42.tmp file does not match the files in the setup.cab file, and I continued the installation. 2- After opening the program, after giving the instruction to open a new page to enter a new model, select the alternatives and press OK, I get the "File Corrupted (CRC Check) error and it stops the program. My computer is win7 64bit. I would be glad if you could help me with the solution of the problem.
