Export Problem

In the last version of the ide, it was said that the problems were gone when transferring autocade. I opened this topic before, but I could not get an answer for the application. In the file, I transferred the project to autocade and it gives a file called ide file. What does this file do? If I can't get the autocad pen thickness, why should I import autocade from idecad. Now I'm transferring a project, its font styles don't change, no matter what I do. How can we fix this problem? I'm looking for help with this autocade export.

Hello Mr. Erman, I checked the dwg you added. I didn't see any problem with changing fonts. You may be doing something wrong. I am writing to you step by step what you need to do; 1-Open your file in Autocad. 2-Select one of the texts on the sheet. (I chose the text "Erman Motive" in the Layout title.) On the left; You will see that it says Contents ---- Erman Güdü Style --------- Text Style11 . Here you can choose another text style from the list by clicking the arrow next to text style11. For example I selected Text style 5, it changed. Now undo. Let's continue with the old one. 3-If you want, let's do it from the format menu as you said: Choose one of the texts on the sheet. (I chose the text Erman Güdü in the layout title again.) Enter text syle command from the 4-Format menu. In the dialog that opens, standard is written in the Style name section at the top. You will select Text Style11 from the list by clicking the arrow next to it. (We read styled in item 2) 5-txt in font name' under text style in same dialog shx writes. For example, change this to verdana, so choose verdana from the list. When you follow these steps correctly, you will see that your other texts with this font have also changed. 6- As the second example, I choose "deed information". I see it says textstyle9 on the left. With the text selected, I enter format--- textstyle and change style name to textstyle9. I make font name verdana and say apply . all my textstyle9 type texts become verdana. You can see it changed in the screenshot.

Erman, to your question about the ctb file

. Let me explain it again step by step: 1-Copy the ide.ctb file, which is created when you export dwg from the ide, to the plot styles folder in the folder where Autocad is installed. 2-Open your dwg file in Autocad. 3-Enter plot from the File menu. In this dialog, select plot style table as the ide.ctb file you copied from the list and click edit' to its right. 4-The color under Plot styles, for example 1. select the next red. Under properties on the right, set lineweight to 0.2 for example. 5-Save&close to exit. All red colors will be drawn in 0.2. Note: You choose the pen thickness of the colors you used in 6.012 by following these steps. With your free update coming soon, these values will come automatically and the intermediate colors you use in ideCAD will be transferred together with the pen thicknesses without any color change. There is no glitch that will hinder your work in 6.012 where you are currently working. Follow what I wrote step by step. If you still have trouble, you can call our Istanbul or Bursa offices and get help from our technical office. Best regards

hello Arzu hnm. I'm having problems with export. I wrote the problems under the title of "pen thickness and opening settings". If I briefly summarize, if we do not export at once, when we combine different exports in one file, the "fi" character comes out as "f" and many characters become incomprehensible. I have mentioned this many times but it is still not fixed. Therefore, it is necessary to export the whole project at once, otherwise you have to make the characters of the added file look like the original character, which is a waste of time. ide defines the reinforcement text, for example, as a different style in each export. Also, another problem I encountered in a file I exported from v6, when I get an object from another file, it gives an error "FATAL ERROR: Unhandlend Access Violation 0*0014 Excepcition at 582819cah" (the error code changes in every problem) and the whole autocad file is closed. this doesn't happen all the time. but when this problem happens, I can't get the object I want to import from another file. I am not at all satisfied with the export settings of v6. it caused me a waste of time... thank you for your interest.

Hello Mr. Sabit, both of the problems you are experiencing are not due to an error in dwg import, but are side effects caused by your wanting to combine dwg layouts on AutoCAD. 1) We have written before, ideCAD names the textstyles of each sheet within itself, when you want to combine a second dwg file on AutoCAD, there is a conflict in the texts. Solution1: Combine your files in ideCAD using ideCAD layout design possibilities, then export as dwg. Solution2: Rename the textstyles of only one of the dwgs you want to merge in AutoCAD to avoid conflicts. (In the example above, click the Rename button next to TextStyle11 and name it TextStyle11A as an example). 2) The cause of the migration problem is that ideCAD does not define colors to the layers when importing dwg. Normally, there is no problem as the objects transferred by ideCAD are never "bylayer" and always go with their own colors. If you make the color of an object as a bylayer, you experience the collapse you mentioned in AutoCAD because the layers have no color. Solution1:Use File->Drawing Utilities->Recover command in AutoCAD. Solution2: Assign colors to the layers in AutoCAD from the layer settings yourself. If your Autocad continues to throw an exception despite doing these, contact Autodesk technical service, there may be another problem with your Autocad. The problem was solved in this way on 3 different computers and AutoCAD installations we tried. In the new version, we have changed the dwg import as you want, it is currently in beta status, testing is being done. It will be available soon. If you do not want to wait, you can contact our office and obtain a beta version and transfer your projects with a beta version.
