Excess reinforcement in hollow block structure

hello, i have a 220 m2 villa project. Holster wanted me to solve it.1. Since it is a degree earthquake zone, it is obligatory to throw at least 2 curtains, one in each direction. I designed the carrier system as I added in the project. 12200 tons of reinforcement comes out. I removed the curtains, put a colon, still nothing changed. I tried at the base constantly, there was a slight decrease. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, there shouldn't be that much equipment, I'd be glad if you could help. good work

Re: more reinforcement in hollow block Hello, Quantity units ; The form is m2 Concrete m3 Reinforcement kg. Your project yields 12.2 tons of reinforcement.

Hi, Units of measure are: Mold m2 Concrete m3 Reinforcement kg. Your project yields 12.2 tons of reinforcement.[/ quote] I forgot the comma. Isn't 12,200 tons too much?

Re: More reinforcement in hollow block Hello, The "typical beam" numbers of hollow blocks in your project seem to be incorrect. This does not affect the analysis results. However, it causes incorrect data to be sent to the quantity. For example, since there is only one transverse tooth in the D03 slab, the number of "typical beam 2" should be 1. If you fix all the tiles in this way, there will be a decrease of 1 ton in quantity. In addition, since the foundation geometry is indented and protruding, if you correct the calculation axles by taking this situation into account, you can obtain a healthier quantity for the foundation.

Hello, It is seen that the raft foundation, columns, curtains and rib teeth are working at minimum in the project. Additional Information; -The effective ground acceleration coefficient has been taken as 0.51 in the Analysis Settings. It causes a slight increase in beam additional reinforcements and thus in quantity. -Rib reinforcement diameters of 10 are used. The use of 8 gauge reinforcement contributes to the reduction of quantity. Good work
