Hello there; I'm doing a project with blocks A and B with the same foundation and basement but together, but the ground survey values are different, what should I do to solve them separately or to produce separate reports? Thanks
Mr. erdalkykc MY SUGGESTION: (Read the suggestions I wrote for other projects before that.) - Consult the project architect on the 34 axis and dilate. - so you can solve it as two separate buildings. - The project is a first degree earthquake zone, it would be better if an earthquake curtain is added. - Beam span in dilatation is more than 9.00 m. Good luck with. Unver ÖZCAN
I say dilatation like unver bey. 3 projects with at least two dilatations. I made a similar project. The basement floor was used as a parking lot. I guess you should too. It would be correct to project two blocks separately and all the remaining sections of the two blocks separately. Thus, the middle section foundations will not be exposed to unnecessary effects and a different foundation type design can be made.
Also, I recommend you to connect the columns in the attached picture with beams. If I have time to review it, I'll post if I have any other recommendations. Do not make cantilever beams from beams.
