Hello, In the program, basic calculations are made with the theory of plate or beam resting on elastic ground. In this solution, displacements are calculated using the bearing coefficient, superstructure loads, and raft plate stiffnesses. The calculated displacements are multiplied by the bearing coefficient and the ground stresses are found. Are these calculated displacements sudden (elastic) settlements on the ground?
