Double stirrups on the columns

In my project, I gave double stirrups in the columns, and a single stirrup was made in place. When I solved it by choosing a single stirrup in the office, my stirrup spacing did not change, only kipper was added. Is double stirrup or kipper the same thing?

Hello, The amount of cutting reinforcement for the columns The number of stirrups determines the number of arms. Tie-crop is also the stirrup arm. If you get 4 arms by using double stirrups in the column, if you throw a single stirrup and put 2 crosses, you will still get 4 arms and you will have put the same amount of reinforcement in terms of reinforcement. The answer to your question is yes, the same thing. As per the regulation, Even if the shear strength of the column is sufficient, the distance between the two arms cannot be less than 25. Therefore, even if you choose a single arm stirrup, the program will definitely add crossties that will meet the requirement due to the 25-fimeter diameter requirement.

It is definitely not a substitute for the double stirrup because there is a wrap in the stirrup. workers are doing this so as not to have to deal with it, it is really a problem to have two-armed and three-armed stirrups applied on the foundations, it is considered as if the person who makes it does not know the job, prof.
