Domed Mosque Project

Hello, take it easy. I'm trying to learn to draw a mosque project. I wanted to do a simple modeling. However, I could not place a slab between the circular beam on which the dome stepped and the curved beams. Can you help me?

Hello there; First of all, draw your inclined beams at +100 elevation and create the remaining triangular floors at +100 elevation. You can then curve the selected elements using the Curved Entities command in the Modify Menu by selecting the beams along with the triangular tiles for each vertex. Best regards.

So, have I modeled correctly as a drawing logic? that is, is it correct to set the dome to press the circular beam and the circular beams to press the columns with the help of inclined beams? Also, how much load do we need to define for circular and inclined beams? thanks in advance :)

Hello there; The way you define it is all about architectural design, if the architecture is like this, it can be said that it is correct in static design. The dome and floors will automatically transfer their load to the beams anyway, you don't need to define additional loads.

Years have passed, but now I need an answer to this. I also have a mosque project, but I have a problem like a friend asking the question. I can't create a curved floor. As you said, I made tilt the objects, but it presents the floor nonsense and I get the wrong slope tiling error. Can you help? I can throw the project if you wish. It's been 2 years, the history of this forum, but let's get 2021's, please..
