Does IDECad 6 open in demo saved in original version?

I don't know if it has been asked before. I am a new member and this is my first post. I searched as much as I could but couldn't find anything. As I stated in the title; Does a file worked in IDACad 6 original version work in Demo version? I am working for learning purposes and I have friends who are project office owners, I will buy both autocad drawings and IDECad 6 saved files. I hope you can answer me "it works". thanks.
