Good evening, in my project, I need to leave a dilatation, that is, an earthquake joint gap. My building height is 11 m. According to the earthquake regulation, 5 cm gap should be left at 12 m height. Do I need to leave a total of 5 cm between the 2 parts, or is it 5 cm for each piece, that is 5 + 5 = 10 cm? do i have to quit?
