Difference between macro scissors and manual scissors

Hello. I would like your help on an issue that I cannot get out of. The results I get from the scissors created with the scissors macro in idecad are not the same as in the scissor analysis after creating the sections from autocad and transferring them to idecad. my inference is which is true when considering axial forces with the scissor macro. because it defines it as the truss (beam) that I prepared with autocad, it is doing combined design and deflection calculations. So what settings should I make to compensate for this difference, that is, to calculate the axial force values of the scissors that I have prepared manually from autocad. What revisions should I make? I will be glad if you help.

Hello there; In order to ensure that the elements of which you create the truss work against the axial force, you must make the necessary adjustments in the freedom section of the steel beam properties. Your results will be the same when you create the same support conditions as the scissors. Only if you enter the program with a steel beam, it will always calculate the deflection. You can remove these pages from reports. Good work.

Thank you for your attention. When I do as you say, it throws it out of the analysis so that you can check geometry. What could I be missing about this?

Greetings, I think while trying to do what İsmail Bey said, you have incorrectly designed the upper head in both scissor types. Fix the upper head section in both and correct the freedom of the element in your artificial scissors as İsmail Bey said, there will be no problem.

Thank you again for your interest. I edited the sections you mentioned. Although I have defined the freedoms you suggested, it terminates the analysis with the geometry control warning. Do I define freedom for all the elements that make up the truss? Or shall I do it for the diagonals?

Before defining freedom, there is no problem in the analysis. but after defining freedom, analysis ends with geometry control
