Good evening, As a civil engineering student, there are a few things that I do not fully understand, I would appreciate if you could help. For example, I want to build a 3-storey building with a total floor height of 9 m, without curtains and ribbed flooring in Trabzon. As in the old earthquake regulation, we can no longer choose the earthquake class. Should the earthquake class we choose be DD2 (Standard design earthquake ground motion)? If so, we can only choose the mixed system as the ductility level. Here, the options A23 AND A24 (the system where the earthquake effects are met with reinforced concrete shears) come out, but I do not want reinforced concrete curtains in my carrier system. In this case, will I have to choose Earthquake class DD3? If so, how can I understand that Trabzon is in the DD3 class? I'm a little confused if you can help me, I would appreciate it. Good evening again.
