Good day, good work, something stuck in my head During my trip in Istanbul, I saw buildings with curvilinear columns on the vertical, I wonder what solution method is used for, I couldn't find any articles suitable for this in the regulation, if anyone has information, I would be glad if you inform me, I wondered how the equipment is placed
 
Hi, I personally don't think they implemented a special method. but I hope that rigid diaphragm is not accepted. Because of the inclined columns, axial force will also occur in the beams. With the assumption of semi-rigid diaphragm, it is necessary to examine the axial load effect on the beams. however, the 2nd order effect will be relatively larger in curved columns. Due to the curvature, the axial load can create large moment values in the inclined column, etc. There are many effects, but the important thing is to consider such effects while calculating.
