When designing a continuous foundation; Is it necessary to define a continuous basis under all of the columns in the x and y directions as much as possible? Is there any harm in cross-defined continuous foundations? (1st Earthquake Zone-SYD System)

Hello -- It is necessary to connect in the X or Y direction or (in both directions) in the X and Y directions, -- you can make a continuous foundation by connecting from the column to the column (inclined). (crosswise) Ünver ÖZCAN

Have a nice day. Although it does not cause any problems in the analysis in the project I have attached, it shows gaps and discontinuities in the sections of the foundations in the formwork plans. I realized this and tried to re-do the foundation all the time, but it doesn't provide complete integrity. Can you help me.

Basically, a whole is not achieved. TK172 and TK171 do not merge. TK88-TK166-TK144 does not form a whole. TK114-TK119 is the same.

Hello, 1. S17 and S16 while constantly entering basic Continuous foundation is not defined in columns. Continuous foundations must be connected to each column. 2. You cannot enter continuous foundations by clicking left and right ends under the columns. 3. There is no problem at intersections of S19 and S18. The intersection seems untrimmed because there is a misalignment difference between continuous foundations. You can edit after drawing. You can find the sample data entry in the attachment. For the section: After the basic application, delete the existing section line No. 1 and re-section from the place I have shown in the attached picture. Good work.
