hello, the geological engineer asked me for Ptv, the design vertical pressure force acting on the foundation base, but I can't find it in the reports. can you help me. thanks in advance, good work

Hello, for what purpose is Ptv requested? As the vertical pressure force acting on the foundation base or for the vertical design force to be used for pile foundation application? You can also send your project.

Yes It is required as the vertical pressure force acting on the foundation base. I think it was needed in the ground report to be prepared according to the new earthquake regulation. I also added the project.

Hello there; Geotechnical engineers for Bursa: Fundamental Stress Graph for G+Q Fundamental Stress Graph for 1.4G+1.6Q Envelope of Earthquake Combinations or Fundamental Stress Graph for Worst Vtx and Vty they want the total horizontal forces acting on the structure. Of course, these are easy to prepare if the raft is a foundation, if the raft is not: N, Mx, My values are printed in the "Column loads transferred to the foundation report in the Foundation Reports. In addition to these, Vx (Fx) and Vy (Fy) values for columns and walls should be given at Foundation level. At the moment, Vx and Vy are not printed in the reports of column loads transferred to the foundation. I think that such deficiencies will be corrected and necessary adjustments will be made more comprehensively in future updates. A sample data file is attached. It should be given to you by the local soil class grounder for preliminary calculation. Best regards.

I heard that too, geological engineers want a vertical pressure force to be taken as a basis. There is a problem with the rar file, it does not open, I would appreciate it if you could renew it. Are we going to look at these basic stress graphs from the analysis system display options or are they in the report? We can see point-by-point stresses on the raft, but I don't know exactly what is required.

Hello, On the Perspective screen, switch to Analysis model from the right-click menu, again in the right-click menu, select "Top view" in the Default view. In the dialog, select Shell results / Raft foundation / Soil stress as shown in the picture. Determine the combination and take a screenshot by pressing the Printscreen button. When you switch to an application like Paint, you can paste the picture with CTRL+V and save it. You can see the maximum and minimum values on the color scale on the left. You can also see the stresses at local points you navigate with the mouse.

It must be from the WINRAR Version, I'm adding it one by one.

Friends who are geotechnical experts will give you the foundation type and bearing capacity, not geological engineers. In TBDY 2018, three people are required to prepare the soil and geotechnical report. 1- Geological Eng. 2- Geophysical eng. 3- Cons. Eng. (Geotechnical engineer or specialist)

Yes, as you said, the geotechnical report has been added. Thank you for all the information. Let's see what to ask for permanent foundations, if anyone encounters it, I would be happy if they share it here.

He wants the person who prepares the soil improvement project to be a Geotechnical expert where soil improvement is required.
