Columns that do not continue across the entire floor

Hello, the question I want to ask is how correct is it to include the columns that do not continue throughout the entire floor into the alpha s calculation? As a result, we do not include the curtains that do not continue throughout the entire floor in the calculation of alpha s, but we include the columns in the basement and the ground floor in the calculation of alpha s.

Hello, in DY2007, there was no clear explanation for the alpha s calculation of all-floor non-continuing columns and there was uncertainty. With the new Earthquake Regulation 2018, the alpha s account has been removed. In the new earthquake regulation, selection is made according to the type of structural system from the table according to R (structural system behavior coefficient), D (strength excess coefficient) and BYS (Permissible building height classes).
